Asian Paints Indonesia is a part of the Asian Paints Group, which ranks among the top ten decorative coatings companies in the world. Asian Paints started operations in Indonesia in 2016. Asian Paints production plant is “state of the art” plant at Suryacipta industrial area, Karawang. With 75 years of experience in managing plants and production across countries, Asian paints plant in Indonesia has all the learning incorporated to create and produce excellent quality paint.

At Asian Paints Indonesia, technology and innovation is very important and is the driving factor for all the products. We have done extensive consumer/influencer research about paint practices & application methods in Indonesia, combined with worldwide technical knowhow, we have products which are world class in quality and is suitable for local application needs.

Asian Paints in Indonesia is present as 2 subsidiaries - PT Asian Paints Indonesia and PT Asian Paints Color Indonesia.

Today, the Asian Paints group operates in 19 countries across the world and is the largest paint company in eleven countries. The group operates in four regions across the world viz. Asia, Middle East, South Pacific, and Africa region through the six corporate brands viz. Asian Paints, Asian Paints Berger Berger, SCIB Paints, Apco Coatings, Taubmans, Causeway Paints and Kadisco. research and development

Research & Development has played a significant role in the growth of our organization. We have continuously invested in R&D resulting in the entire decorative coatings portfolio for the Indian market and for overseas ventures being developed in-house. Our technologists not only develop new products and improve upon existing formulations; but also act as a pillar of support to other functions by:

 

  • Supporting manufacturing in process cycle time reduction & improving productivity by alternate / breakthrough processes
  • Providing solutions to environmental issues by minimizing waste at the time of generation and also in recycling
  • Aiding marketing in providing technical tools/USPs to demonstrate and push new products
  • Supporting materials by providing new raw materials as alternates to the current one to give them negotiating power and also alternate vendors for supply chain flexibility

 
New Research & Technology Centre

We have set up a new Research & Technology centre at Turbhe on the outskirts of Mumbai (India).
